E3 Expo 2004
More Nintendo Revolution Details! First off, N5 has officially been given the code name "Nintendo Revolution", similarly to how Gamecube was called "Project Dolphin" when it was in development. In an interview, Nintendo VP Perrin Kaplan said that N5 is scheduled to be shown at E3 in 2005, and that it will still be released no later than when Sony and Microsoft release their next consoles. This should come as good news to Nintendo fans, as having the console out at the same time as its two main competitors should help with third party support and getting a good fan base, rather than having to compete with millions of systems that are already on the market. In addition, we will be able to see the system in action in about a year! Source: IGN
