Three...Two...One...GO! If you are a fan of the Mario franchise then you know what those four glorious words mean: Mario Kart. Since ’92 fans of the Mario series have enjoyed racing against friends, shooting karts with shells, and enjoying classic racing with memorable characters such as Mario, Peach, and Luigi to name a few. Now, the new Nintendo DS is joining in on the fun unveiling the curtain to reveal the newest addition to the Mario Kart Family, simply named Mario Kart DS. For some people, who haven’t had the pleasure of owning a DS, this game will make you run to your local game stop and pick out the first one you see.

Mario Kart DS has the same look as all previous Mario Karts-same legendary characters, same plot, same objective. However, Nintendo just released that the new Mario Kart DA, will feature a record 32 tracks in all - the top 16 from all four Mario Karts and another 16 all new tracks never seen before. So not only are players getting all new feeling, they also have the chance to play on the 16 most beloved tracks from their favorite Mario Kart Games. There will also be new “cups” in addition to the usual three called Shell, Banana, Leaf, and Lighting. Eight cups, in all, instead of the usual three will defiantly make the game harder achieve the first prize, but entertaining and exciting. Mario Kart DS drops into stores November 14 for the Nintendo DS, and so far has gotten very positive reviews.
