Hidden Past By:
Andrea Chapter
One: The Message It
started out like any other day after. (Zelda had sent Link back to his original
time.) But he still had the same dream but a little different, there was Zelda
and Impa still running away from Ganondorf but something was different there was
a girl a mysterious girl in it. She would fight and lose to him a then look at
Link, after that Ganondorf would raise his sword for the final blow and he would
wake up. He woke up and got dressed and went outside. Link prepared himself for
Mido’s laughing and harassment because Navi had left him when he returned. But
Mido wasn’t there although Saria was there to greet him.
“Where’s
Mido?” Link asked. “I
don’t know. I think that he's home sick in bed.” “As
much as I hate to say it let’s go check on him.” But when the couple
gets to Mido’s house they found out that he wasn’t there. “Saria
I thought that you said he was home in bed because he was sick.” “So
did I” “then there could he be? If he’s sick and outside he might get
hurt!” “Yeah
and then he would tell you to kiss it, Link.” The two laughed at the idea of
Link kissing Mido. “But
seriously we have to find him.” “I
know, I know. You go check the village and I’ll check the Lost Woods.” “O.K.
but be careful, Link, some dangerous monsters have appeared in those woods.” “Alright
I promise not to be careful.” “Link
I’m serious. Some of the other Kokiri have gone into the woods and have not
come out.” Just then the two got a telepathic message from Zelda. ‘Saria.
Link. This is Zelda. Can you hear me? Something dreadful is happening all over
Hyrule. All the children of all the races are disappearing.’ ‘How
can this be happing I defeated Ganondorf and all his minions’ “unfortunately
link I think that you missed one and now that monster is trying to bring back
his master by using the pure hearts of the children to resurrect his master. If
this does work Ganon will break free from the sacred realm and destroy the
entire universe” “You
mean to tell me there are other worlds out there besides Hyrule.” “Yes
Link other times, place, countries, even planets.” “Cool.
Do you think that this new threat could be from one of the other worlds? Maybe
it’s an ally of Ganondork.” ‘Maybe.
Link. Please find out what has happened to the children. All of Hyrule is
depending on you’ “Jess!
I can’t even get one day off from this hero business! Can I?” ‘Link
there is no time to lose please help all the children of Hyrule. We’re
counting on you.’ “o.k.
Saria you heard Zelda you check the village for clues while I go check the lost
woods. And I promise to be careful.” Chapter
Two: The Mysterious Rescuer Link
walk out side Mido’s house and headed for the lost woods. Then just Link felt
as if someone – or something- where watching him. “Who’s
there? Show your self! Come on out you coward.” I just stayed still and tried
not to move or talk. My name is Andrea. Link is my younger brother. I am 13. My
hair is black and my eyes are brown. I have skin that is tan almost all the
time. Even in the winter months. (If
you’re wondering why I don’t just come out and say, “Hear I am Link your
older sister” is because I feel as if I’m not need in his world. He’s so
happy. Link doesn’t need me. Bedsides I’m sure that he doesn’t want to
remember all the awful times like during the war. It all started about 10 years
ago. There was a fierce war going on between all the races of Hyrule. Back then
Link was a baby. We lived in a small house near the castle in hyrule castle town
market. I was 8 and I was training to be a great warrior in the Hylian army. My
cousins had come to live with us. His name is Sage. Because his family have been
killed in the war for the soldiers’ pleasure. “Now.
Now. Link. Hush. Hush. Please stop crying. Aw. There that’s better” I set
Link in his crib and took out my ocarina and played him his lullaby and other
ocarina warp song. (Link’s lullaby is the Song in the beginning of the ocarina
of time and I mostly play the serenade of water.)
“Look
mom. He’s fast asleep.” “Yes
Andrea you three sure do know how to clam Link down.”
Just then all of us sensed an evil presents near the out skirts of town. “Dad?”
“Dearest.
Get Link and wake up Sage. We need to leave.” “But why?” “The
soldiers are coming into the city. All right listen. Andrea, you, Mom, and Link
will go to the forest and hide there until the war is over.” “But
Dad you and Sage won’t be able to hold back all the soldiers for long. Its
suicide. I won’t go. I’m staying.” Just then seven bold, armed, and horsed
soldiers attacked. I took out my sword and shield but one of the soldiers ripped
the shield out of my hands on threw it into the fire. “Sage!
We won’t be able to hold them off for long. Take Mom and Link to the forest
where they will be safe.” (Sage was a little older than me by 2 or 3 years, he
has blonde hair, blue eyes; he is smart, handsome, and athletic; but Sage is a
great warrior. But he mostly was just one very long sword. It reminds me of the
biggoron’s sword that Link has.) I killed two. Dad, and Sage all killed one.
Just after that one of the remaining soldiers killed Dad. But Sage and I
couldn’t even stop for a moment or we would be dead too. “No!
And you thought that Dad was going to commit suicide! I can’t leave you.”
Augured sage. “We’ll
fight along side of you until they are all defeated”
“Sage. Link has a very special gift that none of is peers do. Maybe
he’s the legendary hero of time. All I know is that I want you to get
your sorry *** off the battlefield and into the forest! So you can protect Link
and Mom!” After I said that I snuck in between Sage and the soldier that he
was fighting. “Andrea!
Stop there are two many.” “Sage
just get mom, and Link to the forest for me. That’s all that’s important.”
Soon after that when Sage went to Link’s side I was stabbed in the
side. “Andrea!”
“*Grunts*
Just go Sage” After a few moments One of the soldiers got luckily and killed
me. But when I died I went to the chamber of sages and meet Rauru. He told me
that I was still need to protect Link. (When he becomes the hero of time.) He
gave me a crystal and said that was me life energy and I could only die or get
hurt if the crystal was crack or broken. My job is to protect Link from dying on
his journey, but not to make it to easy. Then he asked me if I wanted him to
know about me. (When he talks to link about becoming the Hero of time.) I said
no because that might depress him to much after finding out almost all his
friends are sages. And that he might not ever see them again after they awoke as
sages. Away their funs to watch over him like a guardian angel) “Who’s
there? I guess that I’m just a little jumpy after what Zelda told me. Besides
it was probably just a fairy” Just then some ghoma lava appeared and attacked
him. The stupid thing had him pined to the floor and the others were just
waiting for their leader to finish him off so they could get a ‘hero’
sandwich. I took out my hero’s bow. “Lets
show them what a fairy can do.” I killed the leader and three others before
she appeared. Queen Ghoma their mother. It makes me sick just to look at her. I
shot a fire arrow and it destroyed her. “That
was defiantly not a fairy.” Said Link. He took out his fairy slingshot and
fired a Deku seed at me. Because he didn’t hit my crystal it didn’t hurt.
And I wouldn’t move to let him know that I was even there. “Who
ever you are…thanks.” Link said and he put his slingshot away. Like nothing
happened. I think that I will follow him and help him find the missing children.
Chapter
Three: The Meeting As
soon as I step into the lost woods I ‘lost’ my footing and fell right in
front of Link. “Whoa!
*Grunts* mum…. hello.” “Hi.
My name is….” “Link”
“whoa how do you know?” “I
know all about you. Like you are going to save all of Hyrule’s children all by
yourself. How you came to the forest. Zelda and Hyrule mean more to you than
life its self. And that you are a Hylian.” “Wow
you do know a lot about me. You must be one of my adoring fans.” “Don’t
flatter yourself.” “Who
are you? And why do you what to help me?” “Does
it really matter?” ‘I’d better be careful. I promised Saria. And Zelda
said something about trusting no one.’
Link thought to himself “YES!!!
It most certainly does. You could be working under cover as an assassin for this
new threat.” “If
that where the case than I just could have left you to the ghomas. I’m sure
Queen Ghoma would have loved a ‘hero’ sandwich.” And than I took out my
dagger in my shoe and held it inches from Links throat. I don’t care if I
hadn’t seen him in four million years no one talks to me that way. (And lives)
“And besides Ganondork. Who else would kill their own brother? That
they haven’t seen since he was nearly a year old.” (O.K. It wasn’t that
flashy but it worked) “You’re
my sister! What’s your name? What happened to make you stay away for me? Where
have you been all these years? Why where you spying on me? Where you the one
that saved me? And why do you have all those weapons? And who are they? Are they
with you?” “Whoa.
Whoa. Whoa. Slow down their tiger. Let me introduce myself. My name is Andrea. I
have my reasons for avoiding you. Yes I was the one saved you from the ghomas. I
need this entire arsenal to protect you. And this is your cousin Sage, my tiger
black blaze, my horse Lighting, my wolf Wolfie, and my hawk, Nightbreeze. …
Link are you O.K. you look sick.” Link passed out I guess because of all the
‘love’ in the forest we showed him. “Link….
Link…. wake up…. Link, the chosen one of time. Link. Please wake up.” “Oh.
My head. Hey Saria I just had the weirdest dream ever I dreamed that I had
sister and a cousin came back from the grave. Ha ha ha. Really funny huh.
AHHHHHH!!!!! I guess it wasn’t I dream after all.” “Link
are you o.k? You fell pretty hard.” “Yeah.
If you called being bombarded with people who calm that they are my dead and
non-existing relatives o.k!” “That’s
a relief. For a second there I thought you the most eligible bachelor otherwise
now as the legendary
‘HERO
OF TIME’ that all the women in town are talking about.” I said, “I
am the “HERO OF TIME” “HA HA!!!!!!!!!!” “That’s
a good one Link. Now hurry up and get dressed those children don’t have all
day to be rescued!” we all walked out and as I was leaving I felt someone
halfway familiar. I ignored it but as I was leaving Link’s house stopped me. “Andrea?”
“Yes.”
“Are
you really real?” I laughed and said, “Yes.”
“Andrea
why? … Why did you go away?” “…I’d
rather not talk about it.” I said while gripping the doorway rather hard.
I’m still surprise it don’t break. “You’ll know about it soon enough.
Now get dressed we haven’t a lot of time I think I know where oh what’s his
names mum….” “Talpa” “That
right, Talpa, thanks Ryo. This is my boy mum friend Ryo. He is one of the
legendary Ronin Warriors along time ago there was an evil man, much like our
friend Ganondorf, invaded another dimension but instead of using magic,
betrayal, and an army. He used a magical suite of armor. To make along story
short someone called the ancient one destroyed Talpa and split his armor into
nine or ten smaller armors. The armor must have a courageous human for the armor
to be complete. When the time was right he convinced the owners of four of the
armors to turn to his side. They are called the four dark warlords. This went on
about one hundred years ago. Now two of the five are here. The names of the
armors are Wildfire, Halo, Torrent, Strata, and Hardrock. Ryo has the wildfire
armor and Sage has the armor of Halo. And three other people have the other
people have the other armors. Both have fought against Talpa before. I have a
felling that this evil being from mum (I can’t tell anyone, not even Link,
that Ryo is from Earth because Hylian hate earthling and vise versa.) anyway I
bet that he took them to death mountain.” “But
why?” “
To mine something. A long time ago Hylian mined in death mountain crater. They
give the rocks to the gorgons and in return the gorgons gave Hylian heat
resistant clothes. Now Link you’d better get dressed or those children will
never be saved. Come on Ryo lets go to Death Mountain and check it out.” Chapter four:
Three Ronin Warriors
“Andrea Why didn’t you tell him where I’m from”? “ You know
that if I told him he would kill you, Ryo, I’m surprised he didn’t kill you
when I told him that you had armor for earth.”
(Ryo has raven hair, eyes as blue and deep as Lake Hylia, his skin looks
like the sand of Gerudo Valley, but is as soft as his hair, and his touch feels
as warm as the sunrise over Hyrule Castle. He comes from a clan on earth that is
specially adapted to the hot weather like extremely long heat waves and act like
nothing happen in fact they thrive on it. I fought with him when Talpa attacked
earth. I used a magic spell someone called Sheik taught me to get to earth. I
needed to help because if either earth or Hyrule were destroyed the other would
be demolished also. The two worlds are linked to each other the way all Hylian
are to the siblings oldest to younger but its almost only one way. But now I
just use my piece of the Tri-force. Yes I have the last piece of the Tri-force,
the Tri-force of unity. This Tri-force piece allows me to use the other
Tri-force pieces to attack and defend. It also permits me to untie the Tri-force
in my body and give it to someone else. But if I were to die my piece of the
Tri-force would go to Link. And it would occur to him, I’d get his piece, not
that I’ll let that happen.) “ Come on Ryo
you slow poke.” “Slow down
Andrea. I’ll never catch up at this rate. *Huff*” (pebbles fall below) “Well you’re
just to slow..…. Did you hear that?” “ Hear what”
Ryo said while huffing and puffing up the trail.
“Nothing. Just follow this trail until you reach the top. I’ll met
you up there and… AHHHHH” “Andrea, how
you doin’?” “Not good
thanks to you Kento, you gave me a heart attack. It goes double for you guys,
Cye, Rowen, Sheik, and you Sage. Wait a second I thought you said, except for
you Sage, that you didn’t want to come here….” “Well” replied Kento “Yeah I
didn’t but Cye convinced me that you need my help.” “And sheik why are you
here and why didn’t you kill them.” I said with a big grin on my face but
the others where shocked. “We’ll you know that I don’t always agree with
the traditions here, the seemed nice, and where looking for you, but mostly
because they looked hopelessly lost…” “They always
look that way” “Besides that
I was also looking for you and the missing children” “What missing
children,” Cye said I explained it to them and they agree to lend a hand. (Rowen
has blue hair, blue eyes, he usually wears a dark blue bandana on his head; he
is sophisticated, smart, funny; he has the armor of Strata, the color of his
armor is dark blue, and the weapon he uses with his armor is a bow with mystical
arrows and he has an unlimited supply of them too. Kento has black hair, and
brown eyes he also wears a bandana although his is orange; he has an
uncontrollable hunger attacks; he has the armor of Hardrock, the color of his
armor is orange, the weapon he uses with his armor is a staff with a dagger at
one end and at the other is a extension of it but with spikes on it; he is
funny, witty, and quick to the punch rather than checking to see if it was a
trap. Cye has brown hair and eyes; he owns the armor of Torrent, the weapon he
uses is a trident that can grip too. He would be the youngest member of our
group besides Link; he is innocent, pure, trusting, and funny.) “Where were
you going before this discussion started?” “Hum oh never
mind, I won’t go there now, don’t worry so much.” “Andrea where
do you think all of them could be. I mean its kind of hard to hide that many
kids.” Kento asked, “I don’t
know they could be at the top of this mountain in the volcano or as far way as
the Spirit temple.” I replied. We
started to head up and halfway I spied someone else on their way to the Goron
village. “You guys go
head I just need to check something else out. Later. Bye.” “Wait! Andrea
I want to come with you” “I don’t
need an escort, but if you want you can come too.” I hoped all the
way down but remember I dead so it doesn’t hurt.
Then I felt someone watching me, waiting, waiting for something…
MEANWHILE
“HEY” “Navi, you
came back” “Yup, Saria
though that you would need the help.” “Navi, do you
know anything about a girl name, Andrea, I think that was her name?” “Hum” “Navi! Tell
me.” “Well just
that she well…” “What” “Well nothing
she is just some dumb mysterious girl. Who failed to become a solider but was
stronger than any of the other competitors who were there. That was the strange
part.” “Well I guess we should get going.” “Yeah lets go
but where?” “Andrea … where did she say she was going.” “She can’t
Answer you unless she in physic or your sister.” “Well I am physic will that
help?” “What was
that?” “Its me,
Andrea I going to the Goron village and the others are going to Death Mountain.
Sheik is there too.” “Sheik?” “How is that
possible?” “He must have
come from the future. I don’t know about that he didn’t tell me. Well just
meet me there ok?” “Ok see you
later.” “Ok we’ll
met you there” Chapter five:
Evil Plans (The new
Character I will introduce was not created by me it was created by a very
creative young lady named Clara Leet, who is graciously allowing me to use her.) Meanwhile
back in The Gerudo Fortress. “Oh. My poor
Husband locked up like an animal in the scared Realm. Who ever did this is going
to pay. Dearly.” Said Queen Laura (Ganondorf wife. Ruler of the Gerudos) “But milady.
No one will ever be able to get him out of there unless…” said a worried
Gerudo warrior “Unless
what!!” “Unless
we can get the Triforce or get the sages to open the scared realm.” “So
be it. Send out our warriors to capture my sister Zelda or the wretched little
boy Link.” “A
you wish. But shouldn’t you consult with your new ally Talpa. His warriors are
stronger and unlimited.” “Yes.
I guess I will. Send him in.” “You
called for me your highness.” “Yes.
I did call for you lord Talpa. I want you to send one of your strongest warriors
to kill Link, the Hero who imprisoned my husband. And then another one to get
Zelda for me I don’t want her hurt. Just bring her here.” “As
you wish. I shall send Cale and Dais.” “I DON’T
CARE WHO YOU SEND JUST DO IT!!” Quickly to avoid
more scolding Talpa left the room to call on Dais and Cale. “Cale! Dais!
Come here now!” “You called
Master?” “Of course I
called you dimwits! Get in here this minuet!” “Yes master.
What is your bidding?” “Cale I want you
to go after a boy called the ‘HERO OF TIME’. Exterminate him and get back
here. I here that Andrea is in this hideous world. Kill her if you must but make
it look like she slaughtered the youth called Link. She will be destroyed when
she finds out what happen to him. She loves him more than anything or anyone.” “Except many the one called Ryo of the wildfire, you remember the boy who help Andrea to destroy…” “ I KNOW WHO YOU
ARE TALKING ABOUT. WE CAME HERE TO GET REVAEGEN ON HERE DO YOU REMMBER THE PLAN
NOW YOU STIUP HUMAN. HOW GO CALE GO NOW BEFORE SHE CAN ATTACK US.” “Yes, master.” “As for you Dais
I here that Zelda has prophetic dreams so she might know that you are coming so
be extra causations. And DO NOT HARM HER. I WANT HER ALIVE.” “Yes, master.” “So, Andrea you shall now know the consequences of ever opposing me, Lord Talpa, and soon Ruler of all Worlds. With Laura at my side.” Chapter six:
Cale I motioned to
Ryo to stay close and to keep quite. For some reason this person reminded me of
someone else. Someone I knew. Then I had a
vision… of some very close to me suffering and dying. “Link.” I
said softly. “What? What
are you talking about?” “There is an
entrance to the lost woods in that village and in the Lost Woods there is an
entrance to the Kokiri Woods this person is after Link.” “Andrea wait
that’s!” Too late I had
already attacked the figure that turned out to be Sage. In my way again. “Sage why the
heck are you sneaking around here.” Then I got the
vision again “Never mind
just come with me.” MEANWHILE: “ I guess I
got everything let’s go Navi.” Said Link as he was leaving his house. Just
as he was leaving the Triforce warned his of an approaching evil. Look out! “What who said
that?” He’s
coming, coming to get you, coming to kill you “Who? Where?
When?” Now! He's
right behind you. “You! Are you
the might Hero of Time? Andrea’s Brother?” “Maybe! Who
what’s to know?” “I am Cale
warlord of corruption, the demon of darkness. My master Lord Talpa sent me here
to destroy you.” “Go for
it!!” Link shouted. Cale
charged Link; he narrowly escaped but as he did Cale nicked his leg. ‘Link its
me, Andrea, I’m coming for you.’ “Where are you
then?” “Link this is
no time to be talking to yourself.” Said Navi ‘Link only you
can hear me! Listen distract Cale long enough for us to reach you. I’m at the
entrance t the Lost Woods now.’ “Great! How am
I supposed to do that? And do you even know the way to the exit?” ‘Yes, we’ll
be there soon’ “So, um, Cale
read any good books lately?” “Link what the
heck do you think you are doing?” Navi asked again “I don’t
play such childish games I bet Andrea know I’m here to kill you, the bond
between you two maybe strong but not strong enough to save you.” “What bond, I
don’t even know if she is my sister or even if I had a sister or any other
family members.” “All Hylians
have at least one brother or sister. All siblings have a bond between them if
one is in trouble the other would find out in a matter of seconds. But not even
the bond between you too will save you. Nothing can!” Cale charged at Link again and this time got him right in the center of his leg. Link shouted out in pain. Cale processed to beat Link into a bloody pulp. By the time I got there I was a mess too. But because of my magic I healed myself, for the most part. Thank the gods I still had my whistle to call my tiger, black blaze. Ryo’s tiger white blaze and black blaze pretty much carried me to the exit. I hope I wont need my armor. Navi knows the legends of the armors and will tell Link where they are from. And I know he will kill Ryo if/when he finds out that he is an earthling. But what I really hope is that Link is still alive when I get there. Chapter seven: The
Counter Attack Please just let him
be ok. Please. “Andrea, we’re
almost there.” Ryo said “Andrea, use your
physic powers to see who is attacking, maybe that can give us an edge.” Sage
said. “Source of light.
Know my plight. Magic with an ancient spin. Release the power
within! …. I think its …. CALE!” “GREAT, I don’t
have the time to deal with him.” Sage snickered. “Wait, there are
several other figures with him hiding in the trees. And Sage only you and I can
use our armors.” “Why can’t I use
mine?” “Because Link’s
fairy knows where your armor is from. I know she will tell Link and I don’t
feel like watching you two kill each other today.” Ryo doesn’t believe
in any mythical creatures. Such as fairies, dragons, angels, and unicorns or
even gods and goddesses. But he knows better than to question me. We reached the
forest just in time. Link was lying on the ground not moving. I can’t explain
why it happens but when I am really emotional, my wings sport out of my back.
I have no control over it. I flew over to Link and picked him up. Sage
started fighting Cale while Ryo defense Link and me from demon soldiers. While I
try to heal Link and try to move Link without hurting him more. The two rage on.
Their swords sounding like thunder. Each fighting for survival. This went on for
an hour until. Sage struck Cale in the Leg and he fell with a thud. “So Cale have you
had enough?” “Not yet pitiful
Ronin, but I have a surprise for you.” Just then four
Gerudos jumped out for the trees. “So you have women
fight your battles, no offense Andrea.” “None taken.” We where surrounded.
Not that that’s a problem but it doesn’t help any. “Sage three more in
the trees are hiding……….LOOK OUT!” Too late Cale had
stabbed him in the side. Ryo wasn’t doing much better either. The soldiers got
he better of him. If I don’t do
something quickly we’ll all die. Then I got an idea. I’ll use my ocarina to
call our tigers. *Blows a high note* while they are fighting the soldiers I can
help the other. Link isn’t breathing like he should. (Not that I can tell
after all I don’t breathe any more) I’d better hurry. Spirits for the
other side, Show my power deep
inside, Save this boy by
using the power of the seal, Using essence of
blood from close to heal! There was a great
flash of light. And Link woke up. Slowly. Chapter eight: new
plans “Angles” Link
mumbled “Great! Now he’s
imaging things. Wake up you big baby.” I said this while
throwing water for my canteen in his face. “Ahh. What happened
and why am I all wet.” “Never mind that
now go help Sage.” “Darn it he got
away.” Said Sage “Calm down Sage its
ok we’ll get him another time. But I have a felling that something is
happening at the castle. We better head there first I don’t think that anyone
is up in death mountain.” “Yeah lets go
there.” “*Clears throat*
Ryo could I have a word with you. In private.” “Yeah sure what’s
up?” “Ryo it’s fairly
easy to fool the Kokiri because they don’t know much about the things that
happen outside the forest. However once you enter the castle the king will know
who you are and kill you. So maybe you should just go to Death Mountain.” “But you just said
that there was nothing up there.” “Yes, but I’ll
usually wrong. And there are not many Hylians there just the other Ronin
Warriors.” “Alright I’m
going.” “Thank you Ryo.” He
headed off to the Death Mountain shortcut while the rest of us proceeded to
the castle little did we know it but someone was watching us from the trees. Meanwhile back at the
Gerudo fortress. “Talpa! Report”
yelled Queen Laura “Yes my queen. The
attack on Link was unsuccessful. Andrea found out immediately and attack with
two of her friends. She completely wiped out the opposing forces. As for Cale he
is still recovering.” “DARN IT. I WANTED
HIM DEAD. NOWTHERE ARE TWO TO DEAL WITH. Never the less we now have new
information. If Andrea can open a demission warp to the earthly realm then she
can open a demission warp to the sacred realm. And we can free my husband. And
if we have Link and Ryo then she will do anything.” “I see where you
are going. Link and his crew are headed towards the castle and if we picked them
off one by one. We could capture Link and Ryo in a matter of days.” “Just get rid of
them before they mess-up my plans to capture Zelda.” Queen Laura was
defiantly in a rage mode right now and couldn’t think start. Likely for her
Talpa knew what she meant. “I’ll use that
trump card that I’ve been saving. They won’t know what to do when this hits
them.” Talpa said this while sinking back to the shadows of the fortress. “TRINITY. COME
FORTH.” “Yes, lord Talpa
what is your bidding?” said a strange girl hiding in the shadows. “Want you to go and

With this she disappeared. Chapter nine: One
Down One To Go “Come on Link do
you want a ride or not?” “Not thanks I have
my own horse.” “More like a
pony.” I said under my breath. “What did you
say?” Link said in more of a questioning voice than a threatening one. “Oh nothing” “Come on up
Sage.” “Alright I’m
coming” “What’s the
matter afraid of heights?” “Not that’s not
it I sense something.” “Sage quit worrying
and get up here.” We started out on our
way to the castle but it was getting dark so we decided to stop and make camp.
We camped right by a river. I brought out some food and we ate. “Let’s go to
sleep now I have a very good feeling that something is going to happen a I want
to be rested. Black Blaze will keep watch.” Little
did I know how right I was. For a mysterious figure was creping closer and
closer to our camp. It was about an hour past dust and black blaze went to the
river to get a drink. I was woken by the sound of sticks snapping. I slowly sat
up and looked around to find nothing. But if I had learned anything for all of
my adventures it was that you never know what is out there and you should always
keep alert. I woke up Sage and told him to wake up Link. Then the figure sprang
out from the shadows. I jumped up bring my sword around to match hers. I
recognized the person. It was Trinity, Ryo’s sister. But we saw her die in a
fight with Talpa. However here she was. I would never forget that night… It
was a very dark and stormy day. The sky was so black that is reminded you of
night. Hail and wind beat against us. This was all Cale’s doing. He can
control wintry weather. Trinity was too close to beating him, so he used his
sword to call forth a lighting bolt. It struck her with all its might. And she
was destroyed. Later Ryo and I returned the favor to Cale. Nevertheless it was a
major loss for us all…. “Come on Link do

strength is greater now then it was before. I was knocked down. And fell on the
roots of a near b tree. She brought her sword hoping for the final blow. But I
brought mine around. Her shear strength was overpowering. I didn’t think I
would be able to keep that sword away much longer. So I hit the sword with all
my might and knocked her back a little. That only made her madder. She tried to
stab me but I rolled away. By now Link and Sage where up as well as ready to
fight. And now she saw her target. She tried very hard to get away from me, ad
at the time I didn’t know what for. Finally she got fed up with me and knocked
me in the face. Not that that stopped me. She through a dagger at Link. I ran to
him and pushed him out of the way. It stabbed me in the leg right into the vein.
Then she hit Sage in the temples and he was out cold. Trinity grabbed Link and
disappeared. “Nooooo! Link.” I
looked all over and didn’t find them. I helped Sage up and he headed toward
the castle still to check on Zelda. I gave him a piece of paper that said he was
to be permitted to enter. I was headed to Death Mountain I had an idea who she
was going to attack next. Chapter ten: A Small
Find “Oh man. Why does
Death Mountain have to be so tall?” I used my ocarina and
played the bolero I warped to the
bottom of Death Mountain just as sheik and the others were coming down. I put on
my gorgon tunic and ran to meet them. By now I was on the verge of tears. It was
all my fault that Link was captured. My leg was bleeding very badly too. Ryo and
the others saw this and went to look around. Ryo stayed behind to comfort me. He
has always been there for me and vise versa. “Andrea are you
alright?” “No. We were
attacked. I couldn’t defeat her. So Link was captured.
Ryo this wasn’t just any kidnapper. This was Trinity.” “Andrea I think you
hit your head hard. Lie down. We both know that Trinity is dead.” His voice
faltered when he said Trinity is dead. “Ryo. I know what I
saw it was Trinity. She attacked us. I bet she’s under a spell. Ryo she
already got one of her targets I beat you’re the other one.” “Andrea, calm down
your not making any sense. Why would someone go to all that trouble of attacking
me? Talpa is probably still I his nether realm powering up to attacked and no
one knows I’m here except for you, the other Ronin warriors and Sheik.” “I don’t know who
else knows you’re here however that’s what my guts are telling me.” “You know your
stress level is really high your should calm before you have a heart attack.” “I AM CALM!! Sorry
I’m just worried about what they might do to Link. And there’s nothing I can
do to stop them.” I started to cry and
notice that there is a strange opening on the other side of the lava pit. But no
ladders to get down from the top. Ryo turned around and started talking, but I
wasn’t paying any attention. There must be a way around unless… I walked up to the
lava right as Ryo turned around. “Andrea! NO!!”
too late I stepped into the pit. However I didn’t fall. An invisible bridge
held me up. I walked carefully across. By now the others heard Ryo, and ran to
see what was the matter. In the cave I heard moaning. It was the missing Kokiri.
“Ryo! Cye! Kento!
They’re in here! Help me get them out of here.” It took and hour or
two before we got them all out and down the mountain. Where anxious parents
awaited them. I went up with Ryo to get the last one. After he was returned to
his mom one problem reminded. How to get all of the Kokiri back home before
nightfall. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. We gathered them all around and
played the minute of the forest. At the scared meadow all of them thanked us for
rescuing them. I stayed behind in the forest temple. I waited for the others to
return. Ryo was the first (and only) one to return. “What’s the
matter now. You know we’ll find where Link is don’t worry.” “Its not that….
Hey…” “Don’t start Navi!” “*Laughs* I
didn’t mean it like that. But where are the others?” Chapter eleven: A
Deadly Plot Link
is trapped in the dungeon in the Gerudo fortress along with four of the five
Ronin Warriors and Sheik. Try as he might, Link can’t break the chains. Navi
is in a bottle, hidden in one of the other rooms. Kento tries and almost
succeeds. “Come on. We know
you can do it,” Whispered Cye. “Yeah, Kento, you
can do it,” Said Rowen. After several more
tries Kento broke free and got the others out “you’re a nice guy why
haven’t I see you before.” Link said addressing Kento. “Umm.. Ahh..
Because…” “Because we travel
a lot that’s why,” Interrupted Rowen. “Will
now that where free how are we going tot get out of this place. Even if we all
stood on each we still would reach the opening.” In Laura’s room. “TALPA! REPORT!”
yelled the Queen “Yes your majesty.
We have captured four of the Ronins, and Sheik in one of the traps. And Trinity
has managed to capture Link.” “Prefect.
Everything is going according to my plan. But have you dealt with Ryo yet?” “No your highness,
but we will. He went right back to Andrea after all the Kokiri where returned.
They weren’t good workers anyway.” “Good. Now then.
When we have them one of your warriors go to her. He or she will tell her where
to find them they will be in the temple of time. A member of the Gerudo elite
will be holding each one. She will open the gate and my husband will be free.
And we will destroy every last one of them. After that Hyrule, earth and all of
the universe is ours of the taking.” (Author’s
note: Yeah I know it sounds lame but you needed to know what was going to
happen.) At Hyrule Castle. The guards at the
gate where giving Sage a hard time about seeing Zelda, until one of the higher
ranked (and about my age) knights saw the paper and let him through. But closing
in was Dais the warlord of illusion. “Princess Zelda.
Sage of the Halo is here to see you.” Said the knight “Thank you. You may
leave.” Replied Zelda “Princess Zelda you
and your people are in grave danger.” “I doubt that the
kidnappers are a treat to the adults. We will find them and they will be
punished severely.” “Its not that, a
new threat has a risen. He is as strong if not stronger than Ganondorf himself.
And if you don’t act soon he will control Hyrule with Ganondorf.” “That is quite
enough young man how dare you threaten my daughter. Guards seize him and throw
him in the dungeon.” Said the king “Your making a
mistake I’m not the one you should throw in the dungeon. Talpa is.” “Now are you trying
to scare us with bed time stories. Talpa is just a fairy tale. He’s not real.
And only a dumb earthling would think that. We are lucky enough to have our
knights protect the peace that the Earthling shattered many years ago. If fact,
if any earthlings were to come here now they won’t be a match for our great
army. Take him away.”
Outside Dais was watching all of
this. Now would be the perfect time to strike. He
ran along the edges outside the castle. He was so quite that the guards didn’t
even hear him coming. He attacked the castle. The guards where no match for his
dark power. All that stood against him were easily killed. And now he was on his
way to the thorn room and Zelda. Chapter twelve: Sage
vs. Dais
There was chaos in the castle now. People running for their lives.
Solider trying to find Dais. Impa was trying to find a hiding spot for herself
and Zelda. Then she remembered the secret passage to the temple of time. They
tried to get to the staircase where the passage was hidden however a Gerudo
blocked their way…
The soldiers that were taking Sage to the dungeon forgot about him and
dropped him. They were more worried about Dais. After bushing himself off, Sage
ran to find were Dais was. He found him by following the screams of fallen
soldiers. Dais was attacking a prince who was visiting here for a far away land.
Luckily the prince was well versed in the art of swords. Nevertheless he was no
match for Dais, who was very quick. He was killed all but too easily. Then Dais
went to find Zelda and Impa. He figured that they were headed to one of the many
hidden passage. However Queen Laura gave him a map of all of concealed rooms and
walkways. He would find them quickly and return to Talpa triumphant. Sage ran
through the sea of people to find Zelda. By accident he was running so fast he
ran right into the Gerudo that was blocking Impa and Zelda’s way. “Who are you?”
demanded Impa “My name is Sage of
the Halo and I’m here to help you.” “I don’t know if
I can trust you. Who sent you here?” “Link’s sister,
Andrea. Now if you don’t mind, I’d like to get you out of here before we get
captured or killed.” “Fine. Help me open
this door.” It took them only a
minute to open the hidden doorway. However Dais had found them. He tried to jump
attack them but missed. “Run!” yelled
Sage Zelda and Impa tried
to go except another Gerudo blocked their path again. The Gerudo woman swiped at
Impa who easily blocked it. “Zelda hide!”
commanded Impa Sage
started to fight Dais in his amour of the Halo and Dais reacted with his amour
of illusion. With his amour on dais looked like a giant spider. Their weapons
crashed. And sparks flew from the impact. The Gerudo was not enough strong to
hurt Impa but she was not quick enough to block all the Gerudo’s attacks. It
was an even fight. Neither of them could get the upper hand. Sage knew he was
not much of a match for Dais, however he hoped to hurt him long enough for Impa,
Zelda and himself to escape. Dais was too quick for Sage and he hit him in the
chest with his weapon. Sage almost blacked out. Impa was her trying best to hit
the Gerudo. Finally she (Impa) hit her (the Gerudo) and knocked her to the
ground. After Impa defeated her. The Gerudo said this isn’t over and escaped.
Sage was doing better against Dais however Dais noticed this and used his
strongest attack. This attack ensnares you in a web in which it is also
impossible to escape. And if any allies are around Dais chances their shape to
math his to they attack each other. This happen once a long time ago… Talpa
had spilt us all up. We had found everyone but Rowen and we were split up into
two groups Ryo, Cye, and myself; and in the other group Sage, and Kento. I went
to open a gate to check on Link. Cye and Ryo were talking near the temple of
protection about where Rowen might be. Dais attacked them and at the time they
weren’t wearing their amour, so they were easily defeated. Dais tricked them
into going to an abandoned city. He changed their looks and they attacked each
other with all they had. Sage and Kento found them hurt. They knew that Dais had
something to do with this. He pulled the same trick on Sage and Kento. Sage was
about to use his sword against Kento (dais) but his sword showed Kento. Sage
figured out hat Dais had tricked them. But it was too late. Kento attacked Sage
and beat him up. Kento was very upset that he hurt his friend and quickly
defeated Dais. Kento learned a very important lesson he had to look before he
leaped. If it weren’t for Sage and Kento all of us would be dead… “WEB OF DESCEPTION!!”
Immediately Impa and Sage where ensnared trap and started to attack each
other. Sage remembered the last time he fought Dais and stopped attacking Impa.
Sage knocked Impa down and told her what was going on. She believed him. They
attacked Dais together. He might have been defeated except that he is stronger
than the both of them. Not only that the web had them trapped there was nowhere
to go. “Zelda run! Get out
of here.”
Obeying the last words of her guardian she ran out of the castle and into
the hidden passage just big enough for her. This brought her to the temple of
time where Rauru was waiting for her. Dais was upset that she got away but he
had a plan to get her back. On a more pleasant note he did have Sage and Impa
now. Chapter thirteen: The
An Odd And Old Friend I started to sing
Link’s lullaby to pass time, however I knew that they would not return. I was
very worried. I even showed them the way back so they won’t get lost. I knew
they weren’t though. “Ryo, were are the
guys they should have been back by now?” “Oh don’t worry
so much. You’ll get wrinkles.” “Ryo they must have
been captured they knew the way back, and it isn’t that hard to figure the way
out.” I
finally convinced him to come with me to look for them. We left the temple,
however something was amiss in it. We walked around the lost woods looking for
clues. Nothing. Until we came upon some red grass. “A struggle.” And
there was some sand around the area too. It looked like the others were
attacked, fought back but they were quickly over come. Sand. The only place in
Hyrule were there is sand is in the desert. We left the forest and head for the
desert. That night I could barely sleep. I keep jumping up at every sound I
heard. Later as we were traveling I saw a huge shadow. It looked like it
belonged to a dragon. The dragon charged at us. One of his fireballs almost hit
me. I wanted to get him however something about this dragon reminded me of
another one I saw as a child. When we were on vacation at Lake Hylia….. We
were having a normal vacation at the lake mom was cooking breakfast and I was
playing with Link. Then I saw a huge black dragon. It was coming right at us.
Dad tried attacking with his sword but nothing worked. The dragon knocked dad
out of the way. It was after Link and me. I picked up the sword. (I was
about…6) The dragon just laughed at me. I hit it with all my might
nevertheless the attack bounced off. Then I saw another one. This one was a bit
smaller than the other one and this was a gold dragon. A gold dragon has magic
powers; they can transform into other creatures. The gold one attacked and
killed the black one. I was ready to attack it when it came close. That attack
never came. The dragon changed into a Hylian. I thanked the dragon-boy for
saving us. He was very nice and we became quick friends. His name was Calendrile.
Most people said not to trust him. That he would bit off my head. Some were even
dumb enough to try to attack him. (I asked to help him however I don’t think
he needed it.) Others though it funny that a knight’s daughter and a dragon
would be friends. They never stopped to thinking that he was just a dragon.
After two years several people began to see he wasn’t going to attack us he
was just my friend. One night, about two weeks before the soldier attacked us,
he flew away in the night. And I haven’t seen him since…… “Calendrile” “What” “Calendrile,
that’s his name. He won’t hurt us.” Just
then another fireball was shot at us. Ryo changed into his armor and the fire
was absorbed. “Won’t hurt us
huh?” I
noticed the ring around his neck it was made of a strange material. It was
controlling him. I had to get that off of him. He flew in low again. The cliff
by the entrance to the fortress was almost level with his neck. I quickly
climbed up there and jumped onto his neck. I used my sword to break the neck
brace. And we fell out of the air. One of his wings knocked the breath out of
me. Ryo ran over to see if I was ok. He thought that I was crazy to help a
dragon and took out his sword to kill Calendrile. I tried to hold him back but
with his armor on I would get burned if I touched him. Calendrile was starting
to come around. “Calendrile are you
ok.” He
nodded his colossal head. When he is in his dragon form he can’t talk in a
Human/Hylian language. “Ryo, Stop he’s
on our side. He’s going to help us aren’t you Calendrile?” Again
he nodded I was wondering why he didn’t change into his Hylian form. Then I
saw an iron band on one of his massive claws. (Iron will kill a dragon if left
on. And with gold dragons they can’t change into another form. And if the
aren’t in the dragon form before or during sunrise they will die. The band
that was controlling him must have cancelled out the effects of the iron.) “Hold still
Calendrile.” “Andrea what the
heck are you doing” “I’m going to
help my friend.” “Your WHAT?” “My friend” I
carefully moved closer to him. Always watching the monstrous claws and teeth.
That could swallow me hole in half a second. I got close enough to get the iron
strap off. I pulled and pull however the strap wouldn’t move or crack. “Ryo come here.” He
was a little reluctant, though he came anyway. With Ryo’s help we got the
strap off of Calendrile. He thanked us for saving despite the fact that I told
him now we were even. I told him
every thing. Some things he knew and others he didn’t. He was willing to help
us rescue the others though I don’t think that it was because Link killed his
uncle in the fire temple. “I’m just
wondering how can you be friends? I mean you kill dragons and dragons kill
Hylians.” “Well we are
friends just because we are different from the others. I’m a friend with you
and tradition calls for me to kill you or you to kill me. Its just prejudice,
one of the dumbest thing humans and Hylians came up with. Its not fair to judge
someone just because they look different.” That keep the two of
them quiet for a while. We were coming across the bridge and noticed there were
no guards. Just boulders blocking the way. And an inscription. ‘TRY AS YOU
MIGHT ONLY THOSE WHO KNOW OUR SONG OF THE TEMPLE CAN PASS.’ I tried to figure
out what it meant. The only song the Gerudos know is the Requiem of Spirit. Ryo
and Calendrile were looking for another way into the fortress although found
none. I took out my ocarina to play the Requiem of Spirit. Ryo and Calendrile
were having an argument and Calendrile pushed Ryo harder than he wanted to and
Ryo knocked into me. The ocarina was knocked out of my hands and broke. Now how
would we get to the others? Chapter fourteen: The
Rescue I was getting really
upset. There was no way we would get pasted the boulders now. And Ryo wasn’t
helping. He was still arguing with Calendrile. If there only was a way to open
the path. I started to hum the bar for Zelda’s lullaby. It stopped Ryo and
Calendrile from arguing. “Andrea why don’t
you try to sing the Requiem of Spirit.” Said Ryo “My voice isn’t
that good.” “There’s no time
for humility if you want to save Link, who knows what they’re doing to him
now…..” said Calendrile
The Gerudo guards sent down a rope and told Link to grab. Then they
roughly grabbed him and took him to see Queen Laura. “So this is the boy
who defeated my husband. Well he doesn’t look strong enough to defeat a
flea.” Said Queen Laura Then she slapped him
on the face. The Gerudos locked him up. “Now tell us where
that darling sister of your is.” Asked Queen Laura us a sweet voice. “Do you think I
would tell a witch like you” Link spat out
To say the least Queen Laura was not happy. She took out a strange, red
stone and place it right on Link’s shoulder. It was the fire stone a rare
stone found only in the mouth of an active volcano. The pain was immense… “You know that you
could get kill if my voice cracks.” “Andrea you’ll do
fine, just try It.” Said Ryo “Alright.” I said
and I started to sing the Requiem of Spirit. The boulders moved and the path was
cleared. “Now all we need is
a distraction,” I said while looking at Ryo and Calendrile…. Link
nearly passed out because of the burning power of the stone Laura had. Laura was
happy to hear the hero cry out in pain… “*Groans*” “Andrea what’s
wrong?” said Calendrile “Laura is trying to
find out where I am. Link didn’t tell her so she is torturing him now. We have
to find him.” “Aright here’s
the plan.” Whispered Calendrile “ Ryo and I will create a distraction.
Andrea do you know where the ‘jail’ is?” “Yes I know where
the others are held. I don’t think that Link is with the others.” “That could be a
problem.”
