The Key to the Triforce By: Megan Link walked out of Kokiri Forest and took out his Ocarina. He
Link
walked over the path toward his destination.
He was going to Tornado hills. He
was eager to save Hyrule once again. Then
he saw Termina trotting in the same direction.
She looked over. “Wow fancy meeting you here again!” She said.
“Heh yeah you headi’n to Tornado hill?” Link asked.
“Well yeah but …
“But what?”
“Well they call it Tornado Hills cause it has a bunch of tornados there
for some odd reason. But I hear
theirs two great items there.” Termina said.
“Really!? What are they!?” Link asked.
“They’re awesome legendary swords.
The sword of Light and the sword of Power.
And I was thinking I could get one and you could get one.”Termina
suggested.
“Of course I’d love to have those swords!! Let’s go!!”. * * *
Later they made it to tornado hills.
It was a big hill and it looked sort of like Death Mountain Crater.
“ Eeee are you sure about this”? Termina asked.
“I thought you wanted to get those swords”? Navi asked.
“I do but I’m not sure if I’m willing to risk being tossed by
tornados to get them”! Termina said.
Link turned around and look at Termina. “Don’t worry we haven’t
seen a single tornado yet.”
But once he turned back around a tornado was crashing toward them.
“Yiike I told you”! Termina yelled over all of the noise the tornado
was making.
“Cripe there’s no where to go.” Link yelled.
The tornado came inches away from them and picked them up.
And then they were thrown on a higher ledge of Tornado hills. “We
*pant* were almost *pant* dead.” Termina said without breath.
“Wow where are we?” Link asked looking around.
“Yow look at that thing”! Termina whispered.
It was a huge monster that looked like it could be Ganon’s cousin.
It was a huge monster and also looked like it was one of the Biggest
bosses. The monster was holding two swords.” Hey those must be the legendary
swords that we’re looking for”! Link said.
Then Link and Termina saw it release a tornado. "So that’s
what’s causing all the tornado’s?” Termina said.
Just then the monster noticed them. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! GO
AWAY!! I’M ON SAKON’S BEHALF AND HE TOLD ME NOT TO LET ANYONE COME PAST
HERE” The monster said.
“Then the key must be beyond there”. Link thought.
“Is Sakon here?” Link asked.
“HE WENT TO GET MORE SUPPLIES. HE HASN”T GOT THE KEY YET AND NEITHER
WILL YOU”. The monster said.
Then the monster put his hands above his head and a big glowing ball
appeared. Then a beam shot out from it and went toward Termina and Link.
Termina jumped to the right and Link jumped to a different direction.
All to be seen was smoke. When the smoke cleared Termina saw Link just
standing there with his back toward her. “Link
what was that?” She asked.
Link gave no reply. “Uh Link?” she asked not knowing what was going
on.
Then Link turned his head around to his sholder. His eyes were like a
devils eyes. Link swished out his sword and aimed it at Termina.
He had become evil!! Termina swished out her sword and blocked Link’s
attack. Link was pushing
really hard and if Termina fell down he would have no problem defeating her. “HA HA HA IF YOU DESTROY THIS EVIL LINK YOU ARE ALSO
DESTROYING THE NICER LINK YOU KNOW”. The monster said.
“Gee that’s good advice”. Termina said.
Link suddenly jumped up high and was going to do a jump attack.
Termina ran back wards until she started to fall.
She had ran off a cliff!! “Yeeeeowww
shooooooooooooot!!
She fell on a ledge. “~ow~ “ she mumbled.
Then Rupe flew by.
“Hey Termina you okay?”
“Yeah I’m okay but I’m in a real mess. What am I gonna do about
Link evil?”
“To get Link back to normal you have to destroy the monster somehow. I
just don’t know how.” Rupe said.
“Hmmmm so I have to destroy that monster”?
“So how am I gonna get back up there”? Termina asked.
“Well I could fly you up there”? Rupe said.
“YOU fly ME?!!??” Termina yelled questionly.
Termina tried it and sure enough Rupe flew her to the top of the cliff
where Link and the monster were. Link
had his bow out ready to shoot. Termina
dodged the attacks. The arrow he was using was an ice arrow.
( Where did Navi go you ask? Navi was to freaked to watch Link evily
fighting so she hid in his hat the whole time).
Termina had an idea. She
went and stood in front of the monster but many feet away. Link shot an arrow at
her and she jumped away. The arrow
hit the monster. Apparently the
monster was weak agenst ice arrows cause he was defeated instantly.
He exploded and vanished into thin air.
“Huh? Wha? Where’d the? Link started. Link had come back to normal.
“ I’ll tell ya what happened but right now we need to quickly get the
key.” Termina said releaved that Link wasn’t going to slice her in half
anymore. But the first thing they noticed that the swords that the monster were
using were still on the ground. Termina
picked up the sword of Light and Link picked up the sword of power.
It began to glow and shimmer. “Wow!!”
Link said in astonishment.
“We actully got e’m!!” Termina
said.
“Now for the key”!
Link ran over to the platform and took the key.
It glowed also. It was the
key to the whirl pool islands. “We
got it before Sakon”! Link said.
“Now let’s get the keys before he does.” Termina said.
“I’m heading in that direction then”. Termina said
“Wait! Could you tell me what happened I feel like I missed a lot.”
Link said.
“Alright” Termina said and started her story.
As they walked and toward the Whirl pool islands Termina told Link
everything that he had missed. *Mean
While* Sakon: “What?! Where’s
the monster that was guarding the key?! Where IS the key!!? Cripe this is bad!!
Someone is trying to stop me.” Well I’ll just have to stop them too. Besides
heh they don’t have this master weapon.” Sakon trotted off to the Whirl pool
islands where Link and Termina were headed.
Link
had been riding Epona for a long time until he found the whirl pool islands.
It was weird that they called it whirlpool islands cause it didn’t have
any islands that Link could see. All
he could see were whirlpools and a little edge of a cliff around them all.
Link would have to edge around that cliff and get the key at the end
without falling in. Then he saw Termina crossing the river of whirl
pools on the edge of the cliff. “Termina!!
Hey Termina!”. Link yelled running over.
“Hey Link!! Just trying to cross this w- whirl pool with out f- falling
in.” Termina said her voice shaking.
I’m coming too”. Link said running over there.
When they were almost half way Sakon sneaked up behind them and shot a
huge heavy ball at the edge Link and Termina were climbing on.
When it hit the edge Link and Termina fell in and the whirl pools started
to suck them in. “Oh no this is
bad this is very bad”. Link said.
“WE”RE DEAD!!!” Termina yelled.
Then they were sucked into the whirl pool.
“Yes victory now no one can mess with my plans. I’ll get the key
now”. Sakon said.
Link and Termina were being sucked in rapidly through the hole of the
whirl pool. Then something tapped Termina’s sholder. It was a zora holding a
blue tunic. It gave it to her and
motioned for her to put it on. When
she did she suddenly was able to breathe. “What
the? What? How? Just then Termina remebered. She had heard of these before.
It was a zora tunic that let you breathe under water. Then the zora gave
her these heavy boots. They were the Iron boots that would let you walk under
water. Termina put them on and sank
to the bottom. The zora did the same exept he didn’t have to use iron
boots. The whirl pool was pushing them so rapid that the iron boots and the zora
couldn’t stop the current from carrying them. They rushed through the tunnel
and suddenly the water started to get shallower as they went.
When it came to the point when they could stand up Termina thanked the
zora. “ Thanks for that zora tunic if it wasn’t for that I’d be dead right
now.”
“No problem”. The zora said.
Suddenly it grabbed it face and a light flashed.
Then the zora was gone but Link was standing there. “What the heck?”
Termina started.
“I had put on the zora mask. It makes me a zora and I can swim better,
breathe under water and walk on the bottom of a lake.” Link said.
“Wow that’s so cool”. Termina said.
“I wonder what shot at us.” Link wondered aloud.
“I betcha any money it was Sakon. I bet he found out that we got the
key and he didn’t and he’s trying to stop us.” Termina reasoned.
“It felt like he hit us with a canon.”Link said.
“Maybe he was using that awesome weapon Zelda said he had.” Termina
suggested.
“Well I sure hope not cause that thing he used was mega powerful!”
Link said.
“ We gotta get otta her before Sakon gets the key.” Link announced.
“ Well do you think we could run back?” Termina asked.
“Actully I doubt it even with the iron boots on it was still carrying
us with the current.” Link said.
“So we’re stuck down here forever?” Termina said.
“Well lets go further into the tunnel and see.” Link said starting to
walk.
“I didn’t even know whirlpools had tunnels like this under here.”
Termina said as they were walking.
“Well I guess whirl pool islands have special kinds I guess.” Link
said.
“Jeeez I’m creeped out ANYTHING could be down here.” Termina said
with a creepy look on her face.
“ACK!! Where’s Rupe and Navi?!”! Termina suddenly asked.
“Shoot they couldn’t follow us cause we were pulled so rapidly in
here and plus I don’t think they’d wanna go in a whirl pool.”Link said.
“Great!! There could be new types of enemies down here and we don’t
have Navi’s warning or Rupe’s sensing of things. And we don’t have a fairy
to tell us how to defeat it. Rrrrrr this is all that idiot Sakon’s fault!!.”
Termina yelled angrily.
Just then Link and Termina heard splashing ahead. Then a huge sea monster
came running in the direction they were going. “RUN!!!” Link yelled.
They started running back the way they came.
But they couldn’t run forever cause there was the current that would
stop them. “We gotta destroy this thing” Link thought. He took out his
hookshot and fired it at the monster. But it brought it closer. “Yeah that
really helps!” Termina said sarcasticly.
“ Don’t worry I know what I’m doing.” Link said.
“He took out the Biggoron’s sword and started slashing it. Then he
took out the Great fairies sword and did the same. He did it with the master
sword, Kokiri sword, and gilded sword. He hit the monster with every sword he
had 3 times and the monster was defeated. “Wow!! How’d you know about that
monster?” Termina asked.
“I didn’t, it was just like any enemy you kill it with your swords,
but this one was extra powerful and needed the power of all the swords to be
defeated.” Link said.
“Anyway let’s contiue on.” Link said walking the direction they
came from again.
Mean while Sakon was edging toward the key.
Someone saw Sakon. It was
someone who hated Sakon very much because he stole his wedding mask and delayed
his wedding. It was Kefei. And he
knew Sakon was up to no good. Kefei
saw a huge bolder sitting in the corner. He ran over to it and pushed it. It
started to roll to the rocky edge Sakon was climbing on.
The bolder hit it and Sakon was bumped forward and fell in. He was swallowed bye the same whirl pool that had got Link
and Termina.
Termina and Link had been walking for at least 20 minutes when water
flushed in behind them. Link
quickly put on the zora’s mask and Termina already had the zora tunic on.
Sakon was on the big wave of water coming down. It’s Sakon!!” Link
yelled pointing at him”
Link took off the zora’s mask and put on another zora tunic so he could
draw his sword. He drew his sword and put it up to Sakon.
“Alright buddy give us the keys or be in a million pieces”. Link
thretened.
Sakon wasn’t worried. Sakon
took out a canon that wasn’t very big but big enough to kill someone. Sakon
gave an evil grin. “Heh why don’t you give me the keys or YOU will be in a
million pieces?” Sakon said evilily.
Link and Termina had no idea what to do or say.
Just then a Huge wave came again and washed Sakon away.
Link put on his zora mask and swam after him to see if he dropped any of
the keys. Sakon was no where to be
found. Link and Termina were
carried by the current for a long time. Just
then they saw a hole. “It’s the
way out!! Link said. (Since Link was in the zora mask he could swim better).
Come on grab on and I’ll pull us out”.Link said.
Termina grabbed onto Link’s boots cause she couldn’t reach. Link swam
as hard as he ever had before. But
he couldn’t do it, it was too strong. Just then Link saw someone extending
there hand. Link grabbed it and was pulled out.
It was Kefei’s hand. Link
got on top of the dock and took off his zora’s mask.
Kefei reached out his hand again and got Termina out.
“Thanks Kefei I haven’t seen you in a while”. Link said.
Termina knew Kefei too since she lived in Clock Town.
I got rid of Sakon, he is in one of the whirl pools now”. Kefei said.
“Yeah we saw him in there and found out what his secret weapon was.”
Termina said.
“We did?” Link asked.
“That canon was the weapon. Termina said.
“Oh yeah”. Link said smiling.
“SO you can go get the key now.”Kefei said.
“Well what are we waiting for? Lets go”. Link said starting to edge
his way to the key.
“Wait Link!! I have a better idea!” Termina said running over.
Link stopped to look. She
grabbed a hook shot and handed it to Link. Link
knew right away what Termina was getting at.
He aimed the hook shot at the chest and shot it.
He latched onto the chest and opened it. Link grabbed the key from the
chest and held it in the air. “I got it”!! Link yelled.
“Now how am I going to get back”? Link asked.
Kefei took something wooden from his pac and Link used it to latch on.
Link ran up to them. “We
we- did it, we saved the triforce from Sakon”. Link said.
When Kefei had knocked Sakon into the water they figured he had been
washed away. Termina grinned. “Yeah
I guess we did”. She said.
“Now that Sakon is dead we don’t need to get the rest of the keys”.
Termina said. “So I better get home back to Clock Town.” She said.
“Thanks for all of your help Termina”! Link said.
“No problem! If you need anymore help with anything just come to clock
town and let me know”. She said.
“I’ll be in Clock Town too” Kefei said. “So make sure you drop by
once and a while.”
Link smiled. “Don’t worry I will. I can’t wait to tell Zelda that
Sakon can’t get the triforce now.” Link said.
Termina got on Epyon (her horse) and Kefei got on his horse.
“Bye!!!” They yelled riding back to clock town. Then Link walked off
to Hyrule castle to tell Zelda his victory. ~Chapter
