a recent interview, Nintendo executive vice president of sales and marketing,
Peter Main made some interesting comments about Gamecube Zelda which hint that
Nintendo may be considering changing the look from the cartoon look we saw at
Spaceworld 2001 back to the realistic look we saw at Spaceworld 2000. "For Nintendo to succeed, it will need to rely on its established game properties, and one piece of news that will come as a relief to many gamers is that Nintendo is re-thinking the cel-shaded version of The Legend of Zelda that was unveiled last August at its Spaceworld trade show. “You mean that contentious look? What Miyamoto [Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo’s top game designer] ends up with will truly reflect all of the words he has heard, but the sentiments that he holds true to make sure that Zelda continues to titillate all the fans that it has attracted over the years,” said Main. Could Nintendo be changing the game back to the realistic look we all expected? Only time will tell, but it's only a few short months until E3 in May, when Nintendo has promised to blow the lid off what should be one of the greatest games of all time! Ganon's Tower will continue to bring you the latest news on Gamecube Zelda and any other upcoming Zelda games!
