Zelda 2005 and Zelda DS Information!

In a recent interview, Eiji Aonuma, a producer for the Zelda series gave some information about the upcoming realistic Zelda game for Gamecube

and also confirmed that a Zelda game for Nintendo DS is in production. The game will take place chronologically after Wind Waker in the series and will be released by the end of 2005 in Japan. There is speculation that the game will be released at the same time in the United States as well. Aonuma also made the comment that the game will be 'very beautiful'. He mentioned that the ideas behind the Four Swords series contributed greatly to the idea for the Nintendo DS, and that it provided an example of advantages that a double screen format could have. More than likely there won't be any major news on either game until E3 in May, but Ganon's Tower will keep you updated on any new information when it becomes available.
