-
Room A: Light the torches with fire arrows to
get Stray Fairy #1.
-
Room B: Turn into Zora Link and swim to the
yellow valve at the northeast corner of the room. Turn it, this will
cause a jet of water that can later be used as a platform to appear.
Look for Stray Fairy #2 underneath a platform at the southern end of the
room, and defeat a Giant Skulltula on the southwest platform to get Stray
Fairy #3.
-
Room C: Get Stray Fairy #4 from a barrel on the
western platform in this room, then sink to the very bottom as Zora Link and
break the jar there with your boomerang attack the get Stray Fairy #5.
This takes some patience, so just keep trying until you get the fairy.
Then, start to rise up and enter the tube with a green pipe coming out the
left side and a red pipe coming out the right side.
-
Room D: Get on the lowest platform in the room,
then hookshot across to the chest to get the map. Shoot your bow at
some jars across the room to get Stray Fairy #6. Jump back to the
bottom of the water and use your boomerang attack to defeat the enemies in
the room. Enter the tube guarded by some Dixiehands, then sink to the
bottom of the tube.
-
Room E: Defeat the Bio Deku Babas, then jump on
the lily pads to the chest to get Stray Fairy #7.
-
Room F: Go underwater and destroy all the
enemies, then open the chest to get a small key. Surface, then jump
across the lily pads to get to the chest containing the compass. Look
for Stray Fairy #8 in the northeast corner of the room, then ride the
current back to Room C, then enter the red tube at the bottom of the room.
-
Room G: Follow the red pipe to the locked door
and open it.
-
Room H: Defeat as many Green and Yellow Chuchus
as it takes to fully restore your magic and arrows, you'll need it for the
miniboss in the next room.
-
Room I: In this room, you fight the miniboss,
Wart, who is a lot like Vitreous from Zelda: A Link to the Past. Use
your bow to knock down a bubble that is surrounding him, then follow it and
hit it with your sword until it is destroyed. You will need to repeat
this until enough bubbles are missing so that you can get a clear shot at
Wart's eye. If you run out of arrows, turn into Deku Link and use his
spin attack to knock down several bubbles at a time. When you have a
clear shot at Wart's eye, take a shot at it when it is still open.
After a few successful hits, he sheds all the remaining bubbles, which
bounce around the room until you destroy them. Destroy all the bubbles
before attacking Wart again, they only get in your way and cause damage if
you let them bounce around the room. After the bubbles are gone, wait
for Wart to charge you and hit him in his open eye with your sword.
Your reward will be the Ice Arrows!
-
Room G: Freeze the Octorocks in this room and
use the ice blocks they turn into as steps to the red valve in the
room. Turn the valve and go back to Room C, then enter the same tube
you entered a while ago to get to Room D. Hookshot to the treasure
chest you opened earlier, then shoot ice arrows into the water to create
platforms across the water to the door at the southern end of the
room. Enter it to get to Room J.
-
Room J: Shoot the Blue Chuchu with an ice
arrow, and move the ice block he turns into next to the red valve in the
room. Use the ice block to climb up to the red valve and turn
it. Make your way back to Room F, then make ice platforms with your
ice arrows to the part of the room with the stalagmites. Destroy them
with your sword, then shoot a fire arrow to melt away the ice in front of
the door. Enter the doorway.
-
Room K: The Gekko returns in this room, but you
need a different strategy to defeat him than the one you used before.
Equip your ice arrows and shoot at the blob he surrounds himself in on the
ceiling. If you freeze it before it starts to fall, you'll have a few
seconds to chase down the Gekko and hit him with your sword. Repeat
this step over and over again to defeat him. After defeating him, a
door will open that leads to the Boss Key. Go back to Room C and go
over the gears to the entrance of Room L. Use Ice Arrows to freeze the
water that's going over the ladder and climb to the door the leads to Room
L.
-
Room L: Use the hookshot to pull yourself to
the barrels, then make your way to the green valve. You'll need to shoot ice
arrows into the water to do this. Turn the valve and make your way
back to the barrels. Make more ice platforms in the northwest corner
of the room, then look for an area you can use your hookshot on up
above. You might have to try moving the platforms around, but there is
an area you can use your hookshot on, you just have to find a clear line of
sight. Hookshot up to this area and get Stray Fairy #9. Drop
back down and find your way to Room B.
-
Room B: Look to the right for some red
pipes. You can aim your hookshot at an area just above them. Do
this and ride the water jet over to a red valve which you should turn.
Now go into the water and swim to the yellow valve and turn it off. Go
to Room C and go through the corridor with the red and green pipes coming
out of them (this should be a different one from the one you've gone through
before. You can't enter the other one anymore now that you've changed
the direction the water flows throughout the temple).
-
Room M: Get on the moving platform in the
northwest corner of the room. Jump off when you reach the gear
shaft. Jump across the gear shaft to the other moving platform when it
gets close enough. Hookshot from this platform to the chest or torch
in the southwest corner of the room to get Stray Fairy #10. Now go
back on the platform in the northwest corner and get your ice arrows
ready. Shoot them at the water coming out of the ceiling that's
hitting the turbine. This will stop the turbine from turning.
Walk around the blades and look to the north part of the room for a chest
containing Stray Fairy #11. Be sure to walk around on the blades, they
can't hurt you and it's touch to see the chest without climbing them.
After getting the fairy, make your way to the door in the southwest corner.
-
Room N: Look down right when you enter the
room. There is a hidden room next to the see saw. Enter it and
destroy the barrel to get Stray Fairy #12. Use your ice arrows and
fire arrows to shoot the jets of water coming from the ceiling to move the
see saws into a position so that you can reach the green pipe. Turn
the green valve up there, then walk across the green pipe to the room behind
the grating. You will need to turn into Zora Link in order to climb
part of the pipe. Use your hookshot to reach the chest inside that
room to get Stray Fairy #13. Go back to Room C and enter the green
tube at the bottom of the room.
-
Room O: You can find Stray Fairy #14 in the
tube that takes you back to Room C. Use arrows and the Fairy's Mask to
get this one. Stray Fairy #15 is just beneath the valve in the middle
of the room. Stand on the green pipe where you have a clear shot and
shoot it with an arrow, then use the Fairy's Mask to get this one as
well. It's a good idea to take them to the Great Fairy before fighting
the boss since he can cause a lot of damage if he uses his main attack on
you. When you're ready to fight the boss, turn the valve in the middle
of the room, then use the jet of water that appears to leap across to the
doorway. Use the boss key to enter the door, and you are ready to
fight Gyrog. If you need help fighting him, click here.
