The Kokiri Sword is the first sword you find in the game. It is the only sword Young Link can use.
You receive the Master Sword after finding the three Spiritual Stones and taking them to the Temple of Time. It is much more powerful than the Kokiri Sword, and can only be used by Adult Link.
Biggoron's Sword is twice as powerful as the Master Sword, but since it is so heavy that Link must use both hands to lift it, he cannot use a shield with it. Shields
The Deku Shield is the first shield you obtain. You can purchase it for 40 Rupees in the Kokiri Forest. It can be burnt if you try to block fire with it, so be careful. Only Young Link can use the Deku Shield.

The Iron Boots are extremely heavy, making it impossible for Link to run. If he wears them in water, he will sink to the bottom. They are found in the Ice Cavern.
The Hover Boots allow Link to walk where there are no platforms for a second or two. They are found in the Shadow Temple. Magic Spells
