Giant Octorok

To defeat the Giant Octorok, first use your shield to deflect the huge rocks he shoots at you back at him.  After deflecting three of them back at him, the room will be covered with ice, as will the Giant Octorok.  Use the Flame Lantern to light the Giant Octorok's tail on fire, you may have to run around him and change directions a few times to do so.  After doing this, he will run around the room and hit the wall, knocking boulders down as he thaws out.  Avoid the boulders and repeat the process to defeat him.  When he is almost defeated, Giant Octorok will cause the room to go completely dark.  Light up the lantern to see more of the room.
