10/18 Update More Gamecube Zelda Title Information We have a little more information regarding the title for Gamecube Zelda. IGN is reporting that the game will be called Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto, which can be translated into one of several phrases:
The name will probably change slightly for the U.S. version, but we will bring you news on that when it becomes available. Source: IGN 10/17 Update Zelda Advance Box Art! Nintendo has revealed the box art to Zelda Advance, the remake of A Link to the Past for GBA! The art, which can be seen below is similar to the original Link to the Past box art, but also mentions the four swords multiplayer game as well. The game is still scheduled for a December 9th release in the United States.
10/15 Update Gamecube Zelda Title Nintendo of Japan's website has the title for the upcoming Zelda game on Gamecube! According to their site the new Zelda game will be titled: The Legend of Zelda: Takt of the Wind. The word Takt in Japanese means A Baton or Cycle of Time. With how little information there is on the game, it could take on either meaning right now. Ganon's Tower will continue to bring you the latest Gamecube Zelda news as it arrives! Source: Nintendo of Japan 10/4 Update Gamecube Clubs Return! The Gamecube Clubs that Nintendo had last year to promote the Gamecube before its release are returning. This time it will be to promote many of the games that are set for release over the holidays, but as an added bonus, Zelda will be playable at the Gamecube Clubs. Other playable games include Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 0, James Bond: Nightfire, Starfox Adventures, Tony Hawk 4, Metal of Honor: Frontline, Madden 2003, Mario Party 4, and Animal Crossing.
