NSA Training Video #5 [WMV] [Quicktime] Highly Anticipated Co-Op Trailer Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is one of the best games for the XBox console. The game can be played in a variety of ways and you can play each level in several different ways to get through it. Although the game is meant to be played using stealth, sneaking around and not being detected by enemies, you also have the option of blowing up everything in sight if you choose to play that way. You have weapons and items designed for doing as much damage as possible, or for a quick and quiet kill that doesn't alert nearby enemies. The graphics in Chaos Theory are amazing, among the very best seen on XBox. The areas you can explore look almost photo-realistic, and the enemies look great as well. When the night vision goggles are equipped, it looks just like you were actually looking through real night vision goggles, making the experience even more realistic.
The sound in Chaos Theory is outstanding as well, and is a big part of the game. If you are sneaking around, you don't want to make a lot of noise. The game features Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound and outstanding voice acting. Certain actions you can do in the game affect how much noise is taking place around you, and therefore how much noise you can make without alerting enemies. For example, there may be a power generator running in a room and you can hear the noise it makes when it is on, as you go farther from it you can hear the volume fading and know that you need to make less noise. Or you can choose turn the generator off so it makes no noise, meaning you have to be really quiet, but with the benefit of no lights in the room, making it hard for the enemies to actually see you.
The gameplay is outstanding in Splinter Cell, there are so many options of how to go through the game. You can choose to play for action and blow up just about everything in sight, even getting the option to pick a weapons loadout geared specifically towards action, or you can go with the stealth weapons and equipment loadout and sneak around trying not to alert the enemies. Each level can be played in several different ways too, you might play through one way the first time, then discover a hidden passageway the next time, which greatly adds to the replay value of the game. In addition you have the option to sneak up on enemies and deliver a 'quick kill' in which you sneak up on them and either slit their throat or stab them in the stomach, killing them quickly and quietly, and you can hide the body so that enemies who may pass through in the future aren't alerted.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is one of the best games for XBox. It has a huge variety of gameplay and a lot of replay value. If you like stealth games or action games, it is a must-buy for you!
