  1. Room A:  Shoot the eye switch in the statue's eye with an arrow, then hookshot over to the chest that appears and open it to get Stray Fairy #1.

  2. Room B:  Bomb the wall with a crack in it.  Place both the crates in the room that appears on switches in the room.  Place a Link or Zora shell on the other small switch, and a Goron shell on the huge switch, after they're pressed, a gate opens that leads to Room C.

  3. Room C:  Bomb the dirt in the center of the courtyard, then fall down the hole that is created.

  4. Room D:  Use the hookshot on the hookshot target on the wall, then open the chest to get Stray Fairy #2. Drop back down and use the Mirror Shield to reflect light on the sun block.  Use Goron Link to cross the lava, then punch the Armos while still Goron Link.  After they're defeated a chest containing a small key will appear.  Climb the stairs to Room C and open the locked door.

  5. Room E:  Dive in the water as Zora Link and porpoise jump out of the water to reach the chest containing a small key, then drop back into the water and enter the passage guarded by a Dixiehand.

  6. Room F:  Sink to the bottom and destroy the spiked mines with your boomerang attack.  Step on the switch.  This will cause a chest to appear, but you can't get to it just yet.

  7. Room G:  Climb on the walkway once you get to the surface of the water and use fire arrows on the switch near the northern doorway.  The mirror in this room can store light that you reflect into it with the mirror shield, so reflect light into the mirror for 30 seconds to a minute, then run to the stream of light and reflect it into the sun block.  Get the compass, then head to the opposite door (it will be locked) and open it.

  8. Room H:  If you have the Stone Mask, wear it.  This will keep the black boes from noticing you. Turn into Goron Link and punch the stones blocking the sunlight.  Charge the mirror to the right for a while and use its stored light to hit the sun block on the east side of the room.  At the end of the corridor, a chest appears containing Stray Fairy #3.  Go back and charge the mirror to the left for a little longer than you charged the first one, then use its light to charge the mirror opposite from it for as long as you can.  Then use its light to hit the sun block.  Before leaving, use the Mirror Shield to reflect light into the sun blocks near the entrance, when you hit the right one a chest will appear with Stray Fairy #4 inside.

  9. Room I:  Drop down the ladder and turn into Goron Link and pound the switch that is in the lava.  Quickly roll to the switch in the lava.  Pressing this will cause flames around a chest on a ledge to disappear.  This chest contains Stray Fairy #6, which you can get to later.  The flames around the chest are only down for a short time, so it may take several tries to get there on time.  After getting that stray fairy, climb back up the ladder and turn into Deku Link.  Glide into the air vents you see in the room, they help you fly longer.  Stray Fairy #6 is right across from the first vent.  Now, jump back into the air vent and continue gliding across the room.  The toughest part is an area where you need to do a U-turn in the air.  When you complete your flight, you'll land near the chest containing Stray Fairy #6. 

  10. Room J:  In this room, you must fight Boss Garo.  To defeat him, dodge his attacks, it's best to Z-target him and keep your shield up while doing this so he can't hurt you.  If you successfully dodge his attack, he stands there for a second or two, so quickly hit him with your sword as many times as you can.  Repeat these steps until he's defeated.  Remember to move away from him after defeating him because he'll exploded when defeated.  For defeating him, you'll get the Light Arrows.  These can be used to hit sun blocks and to turn the temple upside down.

  11. Room K and L:  Use your hookshot to pull the mask off the Hiploop, and hit it with your sword.  Continue across the room until you reach Room L.  In Room L, you must defeat an Eyegore.  To do this, come close to him and back away, he'll try to attack you, and his eye will turn yellow.  When his eye is yellow, you can shoot him there with an arrow.  After defeating him, you'll get a chest containing Stray Fairy #7.

  12. Room A:  Drop off the ledge and look for a sun switch.  Shoot it with your Light Arrows.

  13. Outside the Temple:  Leave shells on the switches to your right and in front of you.  Look for a spider like mark and shoot it with your Light Arrows.  This will flip the temple upside down.  From here on, you should refer to the second map I have provided on this page.

  14. Room M:  Open the chest straight ahead of you to get Stray Fairy #8.  Head to the left and enter Room N.

  15. Room N and O:  Use your Light Arrows to destroy the sun block.  Turn into Deku Link to glide and launch yourself to the air vent on the right.  Then hover in the air and slowly drop until you can reach the small niche below the bridge.  Stray Fairy #9 is inside.  Now, fly to the pressure switch on the east side of the room and place a shell on it.  Fly to the ledge with the chest (it will be near the top of the south wall) and open it to get Stray Fairy #10.  Next, drop down to the bridge and step on the switch at the end of the corridor on the north side.  This causes a chest to appear on the other side of the bridge which contains another small key.  After getting the key, launch yourself to the ledge on the northwest side of the room and shoot a light arrow at the sun switch you see.  Now you can exit the room.

  16. Room P:  Shoot a Light Arrow at the spider like mark, which flips the room over.  Turn into Goron Link and cross the lava, then turn back into normal Link and shoot another Light Arrow into the mark.  Now exit the room to enter Room Q.

  17. Room Q:  In this room, you must move a block from the northeast corner to a switch in the northwest corner.  To do this, you should push the block as far as you can, then shoot the spider marks to flip it over.  Continue to do this until the block has reached the switch.  You can now enter Room R.

  18. Room R:  Defeat the Wizzrobe and open the chest to get Stray Fairy #11.

  19. Room S and T:  Turn into Deku Link and glide across the room.  Enter Room T through the entrance on the south.  In Room T you will need lots of arrows and magic.  In the room there are several Death Armos.  The only way to defeat them is to shoot a Light Arrow at the glowing "shields" on their bodies.  They will flip upside down and try to dive-bomb you.  Dodge their dive bomb attack and they will explode.  Grab the green potion they drop, you'll need it.  After defeating them, place a shell on the switch and grab the key from the chest that appears.

  20. Room U:  First, turn right and enter Room M.  Defeat the Death Armos (or just avoid him) there and step on the switch.  Return to Room U and shoot the hanging mines with your arrows.  Then, turn into Deku Link and launch yourself to the Deku Flower in the cage in the middle of the room.  Re-launch yourself the rest of the way across the room from there to enter Room V.

  21. Room V and W:  Shoot the blue bubbles from a distance so they don't curse you.  If they do, play the Song of Storms to remove the curse.  In Room W, you fight Gomess.  To defeat him, use Light Arrows and the Bunny Hood.  Use the Light Arrows to get rid of the bats that surround him, then run close to hit him with your sword.  Be careful of his spinning scythe attack.  After defeating him, you can get the Boss Key.

  22. Room X and Y:  Use the Song of Soaring to warp to the dungeon entrance.  Look for a chest near the ceiling and Hookshot to it.  Use a key to enter Room X.  Defeat the Eyegore, then open the chest to get the Giant's Mask.  Contiune on to Room Y and shoot the switch and open the chest that appears.

  23. Room A:  Go back outside the temple and flip it back over.  Go to the treasure chest in the middle of the pit across from the entrance to get Stray Fairy #12. 

  24. Room E:  Use Light Arrows to destroy the sun blocks, then porpoise jump into the fenced area on the right.  Defeat the beamos (use a bomb) and hit the crystal switch.  This will cause a chest to appear on the opposite side of the bridge which contains Stray Fairy #13.

  25. Room F:  Dive into the pool and swim through the underwater passage to Room F.  Look for the sun mark and swim to it.  Stray Fairy #14 is in a chest on top of the platform.

  26. Room K:  This fairy is in the chest you revealed in the hallway just before the Boss's Room.  Jump to the floor and open the chest to get Stray Fairy #15.  Go back outside the temple and flip it back upside down and make your way back here to reach the boss.  It helps to have some Green Potion before fighting him.  You may also want to take the Stray Fairies to the Great Fairy's fountain to get the Great Fairy's sword before fighting Twinmold.  It helps a lot if you run out of magic from using the Stone Mask.
