Big Poe
Big Poe's weakness is light. The best way to defeat him is to split up the Links, leaving one on each star shaped switch, which keeps the torches lit. When everybody is on a switch, use the remaining Link to attack the Big Poe. Whenever it goes into a lit area, attack with your sword. When you hit him, Big Poe will release smaller enemies, which you can avoid unless they come close to you. It should take about five hits to defeat the Big Poe.
