  Slingshot - With the slingshot, Link can fire a stone that will either stun or damage most enemies, and it can also be used to hit certain switches.  Holding the A button to charge the shot will allow the stone to fly across the entire room.

Level 2 - This can fire 3 stones at once.  If you get in formation and power up the slingshot, it can clear areas crowded with enemies.

Shovel - Link uses the shovel to dig, sometimes finding secret items or passageways. 

Level 2 - This shovel makes a high pitched beeping noise when Link is near a secret, making it easier to locate places to dig.

Lamp - This allows Link to see in the dark, but can also shoot small flames, which can be used to burn down certain obstacles.

Magic Hammer - The magic hammer can create shockwaves that stun most land-based enemies, but can also knock down posts that help Link  get through his quest.

Level 2 - The shockwave that stuns enemies travels farther with this hammer, and it can also be used to reveal spikes in the floor, and flip certain enemies on their backs.

Fire Rod - With the fire rod, you can tap the A button to shoot out a fireball, or hold it and let loose a ton of flames.  The fire rod is useful for attacking enemies, melting ice, and also burning through grass quickly to reveal force gems and other items hidden in it.

Level 2 - The fire rod can create blocks, if you hit the A button again the block will explode and shoot flames in four directions.

Roc's Feather - This gives Link the ability to jump.

Bow - Allows Link to shoot arrows.  If you hold the A button down, Link can fire the arrow through most objects in the game.  some switches can only be hit by using the bow.

Level 2 - This allows you to fire three shots in a row, and if used in formation it can be a very useful weapon.

Pegasus Boots - The pegasus boots allow Link to run extremely fast.  Try dashing into trees or cracked blocks to see what happens.....

Level 2 - These allow Link to run through gaps in the floor as long as they are no longer than one block wide.

Boomerang - This can stun or damage most enemies in the game, and can be used to retrieve items from a distance.  If you hold the A button down, the boomerang will hover in place until the A button is released. 

Level 2 - Flies farter than the initial boomerang.

Bomb - After a few seconds, bombs will explode.  They are useful for attacking enemies, destroying cracked walls, and burning grass faster to reveal force gems and other items.

Level 2 - More powerful versions of the original bomb.

Quake Medallion - Causes an earthquake that turns all enemies in the area into jelly.

Key - Allows Link to get through locked doors

Heart Container - increases Link's life capacity by one.

Heart - restores one heart of Link's life.

Force Fairy - Brings Link back to life if his hearts reach 0.

Carrot - These summon a horse that allows Link to move faster, and be invincible for a short time.  Be sure to pick up more while riding the horse, or you will lose this ability.

Power Bracelet - Allows Link to pick up large items and throw them around.

Bombos Medallion - Destroys every enemy in the area with fire.

Blue Bracelet - Reduces the amount of damage Link takes by half for the remainder of the level.
