Bosses
This section explains how to
defeat the bosses in The Legend of Zelda. In the part that tells
what dungeon the enemy is in, if the enemy is the boss of the
dungeon, the level will be in red. If the enemy
is present in the dungeon, but not the final boss, the dungeon
will be written in blue.

Drop bombs in it's mouth. It usually takes 3 bombs to
defeat a Dodongo. |
Manhandla |
1st Quest- Level
3, Level 4, Level 8 2nd Quest- Level 5, Level
6, Level 7

The best way to defeat a Manhandla is to drop a bomb
as close to it's center as possible. If you are out of
bombs, you can use your sword on it's claw-like hands. |
 Digdogger |
1st Quest- Level
5, Level 7 2nd
Quest- Level 4, Level 8
|
To defeat a Digdogger, you must use the whistle to
either break it into 3 parts, or shrink it to a smaller
size. If it splits into 3 pieces, you can defeat one of
the pieces using your sword, leave the room, and come
back. The entire Digdogger will be gone. If the Digdogger
shrinks when you use the whistle, just defeat the smaller
Digdogger with your sword. |
Gleeok
|
1st Quest- Level

To defeat a Gleeok, you must attack each of it's
heads (every gleeok has either 2, 3, or 4 heads) with
your sword. After a few hits, you will chop off a head,
and it will fly around the room shooting beams at you.
just dodge this, and continue attacking the other heads
with your sword until the gleeok is defeated. |
 Ghoma |

To defeat a Ghoma, shoot arrows at it's eye. |
Ganon
|
1st Quest- Level
9 2nd Quest- Level 9
|
Ganon is invisible when you first enter the room. To
defeat him, slash around the room with your sword until
he appears, while dodging the beams he shoots at you. If
he shoots a beam from right next to you, immediately attack that spot with your sword, chances are you'll hit
him. After repeating this process 4 or 5 times, Ganon
will appear brown. Shoot a Silver Arrow at him to finish
him off! |
