Name and Picture |
How to Defeat |
Bit |
Slash with your sword. |
Bot |
Attack with your sword, but watch out,
it can jump also. |
Ache |
When it comes down from the ceiling,
do an upward thrust, or jump and slash it with your sword. |
Geldarm |
First, hit it anywhere with your
sword. This will cause the Geldarm to drop to the ground. Then
attack it's head with your sword. |

Gorya
|
Either dodge their boomerangs, or block them with your
shield, then attack them with your sword. |
Lowder |
When you stand near a Lowder, it will run towards you really
fast, so duck down, and hit it with your sword once it gets close. |

Moblin
|
Moblins can again be defeated with your sword. The
orange moblins take away experience points if you get hit by them, while
giving you none when you defeat them. The blue one throws his spear
at you, so be careful. |

Deeler |
The red Deeler never comes down to the ground, so you can
just dodge it as it crawls down it's web, and attack with the sword, or
just do an upward thrust on it. The blue Deeler again drops down on
a web, but it jumps around on the ground afterwards. To defeat them,
either do upwards thrusts while its still on it's web, or use your sword
while its on the ground. |
Moby |
The Moby drops out of the sky and flies right at Link.
Time your sword attack just right so that you hit it before it runs into
you. If you are hit by the Moby you lose experience points. |

Octorock |
Attack them with your sword. The red ones can jump. |

Daria |
To defeat the orange Daria, pay attention to when he swipes
his axe at you, and slash him with your sword in-between his
attacks. The red one throws his axe at you, so if you can, cast the
Jump spell so you can jump over the axe easier, and attack between throws. |

Moa
|
Moa can be defeated with your sword. You need the
cross to see the blue and ren Moa. |

Ironknuckle
|
Ironknuckle can be defeated by quickly attacking them from
both the standing and ducking positions with your sword. The blue
ones have a beam attack, so watch out! |
Myu |
Myu are small, so they can only be defeated with a downward
thrust. |

Stalfos
|
Stalfos can be defeated by attacking them in the legs.
Some jump around and even use downward thrusts on you, but it's easy to
dodge their attacks. |
Mace Thrower |
The Mace Thrower throws small maces at you. Look for a
gap in the maces and run right next to him, then slash him with your sword
several times. |
Bubbles |
Bubbles can't be defeated, just avoid them. Many times
they knock you into a bottomless pit if you get hit. |
Tinsuit |
Tinsuits can easily be defeated with your sword. Again
they take away experience if you are hit. |
Skull |
The skulls can be defeated by getting attacked with the
sword. It takes a lot of hits to defeat them unless you have attack
level 8. If you are hit, they take away life AND magic. |
Devil |
Devils will fly downward in the shape of a bat, then turn
into the guy in the picture and shoot fire at you. Just hit them
with your sword, and they'll die. |
Megmat |
Megmats are easy to defeat, again a sword attack is all it
takes. |
Bago-Bago |
They shoot rocks at you, but it only takes one hit from the
sword to defeat them. |
Rope |
Sword attacks defeat them. Avoid the rocks they shoot
at you. |
Unicorn Head |
Unicorn Heads fly across the room, moving up and down.
A downward thrust is the easiest way to defeat them. If you are hit,
you lose experience. |
Wolf Head |
Wolf Heads are similar to unicorn heads, except their
movements are either up, down, left, or right, but never diagonal.
Like the Unicorn Heads, Wolf Heads take away experience points if they hit
you. |
Doomknocker |
Dodge the maces they throw at you, and hit them with the
sword. |
Ghoma |
Cast the fire spell and shoot a fireball at it. |
Digdogger |
Wait for it to open its eye and hit it with the sword. |
Bee |
They move fast, so the best way is to try and hit it with an
upwards thrust when it flies above you. |
Leever |
Hit them with your sword while they're above ground. |
Basilisk |
Cast the fire spell and shoot a fireball at it. Dodge
the beam attack it shoots at you. |
Scorpion |
Wait for the Scorpion to open its eye and attack it then be
sure to dodge the fireballs it shoots out of its tail. |

Lizardmen
|
Lizardmen can be defeated using the same strategy that is
used to defeat ironknuckles. Sometimes you can do a downward thrust
on their heads. The one in the top right of the group of pictures
can only be defeated by either casting the Thunder spell or the Spell
spell, which turns it into a Bot, which you can then defeat. |
Wizzrobe |
Cast the reflect spell and reflect its magic attacks at
itself. |
Wizard |
Wait for it to materialize close to you and use a downward
thrust on its head. The fire it shoots at you moves slowly, so its
easy to dodge. |

Bird Knight |
Bird Knights can be defeated by attacking them with your
sword. They jump around a lot, so it helps to either jump up and hit
them, or wait for them to land and hit them immediately. |
Firebird |
Firebird can be defeated by dodging the fireballs he shoots
at you, and getting right up next to him and attacking with your sword. |
Big Skull |
Hit it with the sword a whole bunch of times. |
Big Bot |
Hit the Big Bot with your sword several times and it will
split into a lot of normal Bots. They can easliy be defeated. |
