This is the first sword that Link gets in the game, his uncle gives it to him.
The Master Sword can only be removed by the legendary hero of Hyrule who finds the three pendants.
The Tempered Sword is more powerful than the Master Sword. The blacksmith will temper it for link for 10 rupees later in the game.
The Golden Sword is the most powerful sword in the game. Drop the Tempered Sword into the pond and the fairy will turn it into the Golden Sword.
This is the first shield that Link gets in the game.
The Red Shield can repel fire, and costs 500 rupees. It also can be found if you drop the fighter's shield into the fairy's pond in the Light World.
The Mirror Shield can reflect beams, and is found in Turtle Rock.
The Green Jerkin is Link's first armor.
The Blue Mail provides twice the protection that the Green Jerking provides. It is found in the Ice Island dungeon.
The Red Mail provides twice the protection that the Blue Mail provides. You can find it in Ganon's Tower.
The Pegasus Shoes allow Link to run extremely fast. You can dash into trees to get items.
The Gloves allow Link to lift heavy stones.
Zora's Flippers can be purchased for 500 rupees and allow Link to swim in the deep water.
The Moon Pearl allows Link to keep his regular form in the Dark World.
The Wooden Arrows are the basic arrows that Link uses throughout the game.
The Silver Arrows are the only weapon that can destroy Ganon. Throw the Wooden Arrows into the fat fairy's pond to get them.
The Blue Boomerang is Link's first boomerang. It has a short range.
The Red Boomerang has a much greater range than the Blue Boomerang.
Normal Bombs can be used to destroy walls and defeat enemies.
The Super Bomb is the only bomb that can be used to break the cracked wall in front of the Temple.
The Hookshot can be used to grab objects that are far away and pull Link towards them.
Find the Mushroom in the Lost Woods and give it to the witch to get the Magic Powder.
Magic Powder can be used to turn enemies into potatos as well as turn some of them into fairys.
The Fire Rod shoots a beam of fire across the screen.
The Ice Rod shoots ice across the screen and freezes enemies that it hits.
The Bombos makes a big explosion defeat all of the enemies on the screen.
The Ether medallion freezes all of the enemies on the screen, and is required to enter the Misery Mire dungeon.
The Quake medallion is required to enter Turtle Rock.
The Lamp is used to light torches in the dungeons.
The Magic Hammer is used to knock down stakes and defeat the turtles.
Use the shovel to dig around and find the flute.
When you get the Flute, play it by the statue of the bird in Kakikiro Village and whenever you play it from then on a duck will take you to certain areas in Hyrule.
Use the Bug-Catching Net to catch fairys and bugs to put them into bottles, it can also reflect Agahnim's magic.
The Book of Mudora can be used to translate ancient Hylian text.
Magic Bottles can be used to store bugs, fairys, and magic potions.
Use the Magic Mirror to warp back to the Light World, or to the beginning of the dungeon you are in.
The Magic Cape makes Link invincible and invisible until he takes it off or runs out of magic.
The Cane of Somaria creates a block, if you use it again, the block explodes, damaging any enemies that a piece of it might hit. The blocks that are created by this cane can be used to hold down the switches that Link must push a statue onto, and can be used to make platforms in the Turtle Rock dungeon.
The Cane of Byrna protects Link until he stops using it or runs out of magic. |
