Bonus Disc

   Nintendo released a bonus disc for people who pre-ordered Zelda: The Wind Waker that contained the classic Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo 64 and the previously unreleased Master Quest.  Master Quest was originally planned for the 64DD system that was only released in Japan, but was never released until now.  Both games have received a slight upgrade in graphics.  The resolution is a crisp 640x480 so the games look sharper than the Nintendo 64 version.  The framerate is about the same as the N64 version, but there is less slowdown when a lot of enemies or special effects are on the screen at the same time.  In addition, some textures were changed and the colors are sharper. 

    Master Quest is basically a 2nd Quest for Ocarina of Time.  The storyline of the game is exactly the same, the dungeons have just been changed.  There are new puzzles and more enemies in the dungeons, making them more challenging than the original game.  In addition to both Zelda games, the disc also features videos of upcoming Gamecube games, including Wind Waker and F-Zero.
