Enemies
Armos - Armos are gray
statues that can be defeated with the Bow and Arrows. To defeat them,
shoot them with an Arrow to stun it, then hit the red crystal on it's back with
your Sword.
Armos Knight - Armos
Knights are stronger, but slower versions of Armos. To defeat them,
L-target them and throw a bomb in their mouth.
Beamos - Beamos shoot laser
beams at you, to defeat them, use a projectile weapon, such as Arrows on the top
of the statue as it fires at you.
Big Octo - There are 6 of
these in the Great Sea. If you see a flock of seagulls that means a Big
Octo is nearby. When they rise, they make a big whirlpool that tries to
suck you into it. You take damage if you can't get out of it. Use
Arrows or the Boomerang to destroy the eyes in order to defeat them.
Boko Baba - Use the
boomerang to defeat Boko Babas, it only takes one hit.
Bokoblin - There are 3
varieties, the blue ones are the most common and they can be damaged by any
weapon. The green ones have shields and can take a little more damage than
the blue ones. They can still be damaged by any weapon. Red
Boboblins are the same as the green ones, but they live in the Great Sea.
Bubble - Red Bubbles come
towards you when you get close to them and set you on fire if they touch you.
They an be defeated by Arrows. Blue Bubbles follow the same pattern as Red
Bubbles, but instead of setting you on fire, they disable your sword and other
items for a few seconds. The Hookshot or Deku Leaf can be used to stun
each type of bubble and after that they can easily be destroyed with your sword.
ChuChu - When they are on
the ground as puddles of slime they cannot be harmed. When you get close
to them, they will jump up. Once in this form, they can be stunned with
the Boomerang, Bombs and Skull Hammer attacks. The Sword can be used to
cause damage on them when they are not in puddle form. Green are the
weakest, Red is a little stronger, Yellow is surrounded by a protective field
and must be stunned before they can be damaged, Blue is the same as a Yellow
one, except it will not jump at you, and Dark ChuChu's must be turned to stone
with a light beam and shattered by lifting it and throwing it into something.

Darknut - Darknuts are
difficult enemies. They can be damaged with parray attacks. To cause
damage, remove the Darknut's helmet or cut the straps on the back of the armor
to cause some of it to fall off. After the armor is removed, you can
attack the part where the armor fell off with your Boomerang, Arrows, or the
Sword. After a few hits, you can probably knock the sword out of the
Darknut's hands. It will try to punch or kick you, so you can't use parray
attacks. If you leave it alone, it will try to pick up it's sword, so let
it do so, so that you can use parray attacks again.
Floor Master - Floor
Masters appear as puddles on the ground. When you get close they will
reach out and try to grab you. If it succeeds and you are pulled
into it's shadow you will show up in another room in the dungeon. They can
also pick up nearby bombs and pots and throw them at you. To defeat them,
lure them from their shadows and hit them with Arrows.
Gyrog - To defeat Gyrogs,
drop Bombs, or use the Boomerang or Bow and Arrows on them. To avoid them,
press R while sailing to jump over them.
Karagoroc - They can drop
Moblins and Bokoblins into battle to attack you, but they also swoop to attack
you. Any weapon can damage them, but the Boomerang and Bow and Arrows are
the best to use.
Keese - They are bats that
can be defeated by using any weapon. If they are engulfed in fire, they
cause more damage, so avoid them and use a long range weapon such as the
boomerang to defeat them.
Magtail - When they get
close to you they will attack with their pinchers. Use a parray attack to
defeat them.
Miniblin - These are small
creatures that try to find strength in numbers and attack you in groups.
To defeat them, use your sword and make sure they don't swarm over you.
Moblin - Use the Sword on
Moblins, if they start to block your attacks, then use parray attacks.
They can also be stunned by using the boomerang, which will cause them to stop
defending for a short time.
Morth - These are Mothula
Larvae and they jump after you and try to attach themselves to you. If
they succeed, you will slow down until you can get them off you by using spin
attacks. After this is done they can be defeated by using Deku Leaf
windblasts.
Mothula - Normal Mothula's
look like grasshoppers. There are also some with wings that can fly.
Use the windblast from a Deku Leaf to destroy the wings, then destroy the
grasshopper form using the Sword.
Peahat - To defeat a Peahat,
use the Boomerang or Deku Leaf Blast to destroy it's propeller. After this
is done you can use any weapon to defeat it.
Poe - If a Poe attaches to
link, the control stick will temporarily reverse directions (if you press left,
you move right, etc). To defeat a Poe, shine a light on it and after it
becomes solid, attack it with your sword.
Rat - One hit from any
weapon will defeat a Rat.
ReDead - If Link gets close
enough, they will paralyze him for a short time. To defeat them, hit them
from behind with your sword, or use light to stun them, then use sword attacks.
Bombs also work.
Seahat - Use the Boomerang
or Bow to destroy their propellers, then attack them one more time to defeat
them.
Stalfos - Use a bomb to
shatter them and scatter their bones across the room. After this they can
be damaged by attacking their skull with your sword.
Wizzrobe - Wizzrobes with
red hoods use fire spells and the ones with yellow hoods do this as well as
summon other enemies to help them out. To defeat them, use L-targeting and
shoot it with an arrow before they can cast their spells.
